Animal Crossing: New Leaf Welcome amiibo is the latest version of Animal Crossing: New Leaf, which originally released back in 2012. The Welcome amiibo version adds amiibo figures and cards compatibility to the game, as well as major new features for all players regardless of amiibo.
The new features in Welcome amiibo include fresh new furniture, the MEOW Coupons currency, a Town Initiatives quest system, the campground location in town, and more. The Welcome amiibo version launched on November 2nd. 2016 worldwide as a free update to existing copies of Animal Crossing: New Leaf, and as a new packaged version later in the holiday season.
