Super Mario Set Furniture & Clothing Item List: How To Get

Super Mario furniture and clothing are special promotional items in Animal Crossing: New Horizons to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the series! See all of the items and how to get them in this guide.

These new items are content introduced in the just-released Version 1.8 February Mario Update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons and requires a fully updated game to experience. Learn more about everything in the update here.

How To Get Super Mario Furniture & Clothing

Beginning on March 1st, the Super Mario Set of both furniture pieces and clothing items will become available in Animal Crossing: New Horizons to order through the Special Goods section of Nook Shopping. You can access Nook Shopping either at the Nook Stop Terminal in Resident Services or through the Nook Shopping app on your NookPhone if unlocked.

Specifically, the Super Mario items are found inside the Promotion tab within Special Goods. This is the same area where you can find the Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp crossover items if you have unlocked that DLC previously.

Under the Promotion tab, you will find all 33+ Super Mario furniture and clothing items introduced in the February Mario Update (Version 1.8) released on February 25th, so get to ordering!

Super Mario Catalog Order Limit

Unfortunately, we can confirm that the Super Mario furniture and clothing are subject to the Nook Shopping catalog order limit of only 5 purchases per day. We had been hoping that Nintendo might relax this limitation for the Mario items, but that is not the case.

Since there are 33 different items to order, you will need to visit Nook Shopping and place orders on 7 different days to get the entire Super Mario Set. Make sure to keep checking back every day until you’ve ordered all of them — and don’t forget to order multiple of the Pipe item for teleportation around your island!

Want to get around the order limit without time traveling? You can use additional player characters as each player has their own separate limit. Time to bring out the alts!

Version 1.8.0a Unlock Required

The Version 1.8.0a of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, as seen on the title screen, is required to unlock the Super Mario promotional items for sale in Nook Shopping. To unlock this version, make sure you’re connected to the internet with a Nintendo Account.

Not Time Limited

Currently, the Super Mario furniture and clothing items in Animal Crossing: New Horizons have been programmed to remain available from Nook Shopping until December 31st, 2021.

However, the official Animal Crossing account on Twitter recently tweeted that ‘These items are not time limited and can be ordered at any time’ leading us to believe that this is simply a technicality and Nintendo will adjust the items to be permanent later.

Super Mario Furniture Customizations

Three of the Super Mario themed furniture items in Animal Crossing: New Horizons can be customized into different colors at a DIY Workbench! These are the Shell, Large Mushroom Platform, and Small Mushroom.

Disappointingly, the Warp Pipe item is not included in this list and cannot be customized into different colors, so you’ll be stuck with some potentially unsightly green Pipes around your island if you wish to make use of the warp teleportation feature.

All customizable items in the Super Mario Set only require a single Customization Kit per item, which you can purchase at Nook’s Cranny in the cabinet.
